Eight things you may not have known about me:
1. I didn't really speak until I was four or so.
2. I drive a Subaru Baja, one of the worlds ugliest cars apparently, but I find it cute...
3. For someone who is terrified of zombies I sure do collect a lot of zombie paraphenalia
4. I was born and raised in Utah, and while I do not pronounce my t's if they are in the middle of a word I do NOT put k's at the end of ing words so I guess I don't really have a Utah accent.
5. I am a phenominal maker of baked goods, or so I have been told
6. I am, and always will be, a fandom freak. If I like something, I will find the fandom for it -_-
7. I live an imagenary life in which the world has come to an end and I fight zombies on a daily basis.
8. No one ever believes me when I tell them my family is Greek on my Dad's side and Cajun on my Mom's side (they all tell me I am too blond and blue eyed).

Wow, Awarness Month Again
It's Vasculitis Awareness Month again! How's about that?
There have been several name changes in the vasculitis community. Wegener's is now known as Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis and Churg Strauss Syndrom is now called Esinophilic Granulomatosis with Polyangiits.

Vasculitis Awareness Yard Sale Spectacular!!!!!
As some of you may (or may not?) know I was recently diagnosed with a rare form of vasculitis that nearly took my life back in December. I have decided that I am going to do a fundraiser to help the Vasculitis Foundation raise money for research and support. Being classified as an "orphan disease" all 15 forms of vasculitis get little to no attention from the medical public even though, if left untreated these diseases are 100% fatal within a matter of weeks to months (untreated Wegener's, which is what I have, has a life expectancy of 5 months). We have no disease specific medications (I am being treated with cancer medications and can expec

Vasculitis Foundation
May is visibility and online auction month for the Vasculitis Foundation.
May is visibility and awareness month for the Vasculitis foundation, they are hoping to do an auction to help raise money for research into these diseases as no one really knows anything about them and there are few medications that are available for use to treat these diseases (most of them are supposed to be used for cancer or RA and have been appropriated for use with vasculitis with various degrees of success).
